Description

ALSEAL MS Construction Sealant is a one-component, high-performance structural sealant based on advanced MS Polymer technology. Its formula is designed to meet the stringent requirements of various joint sealing applications.

Unlike old-school sealants, it has much better weather resistance, so it has a longer service life.

In addition, its solvent-free and isocyanate-free formula ensures that the cured sealant will not shrink or have bubbling problems. It also contains no silicone oil, minimising the aesthetic problems caused by oil stains and dirt streaks often associated with silicone sealants. The sealant’s adhesion to a wide range of substrates is excellent, and it can be painted with most types of common industrial paints.

Applications

MS Polymer-based Sealant is recommended by leading architects, civil engineers, and designers for sealing concrete joints such as:

• precast wall panel joints,
• expansion joints,
• control joints,
• butt joints, etc.

It is also great for sealing perimeter window frames, especially when the sealant needs to be painted. Recommended for use in waterproofing applications. Other recommended applications include sealing GRC panel systems, anodised aluminium, masonry, porcelain, coated metal, wood trim, epoxy and polyester panels, PVC, polystyrene and stainless steel.
